Bananas, jalapeño and anaheim chili peppers
The heat of our Gulf Coast Summer is upon us. The humidity and bugs are thick as.. hahahaha.. Heres a few pics of our bananas and chilies in the garden. We had a bit of cloud cover, so I was able to weed a whole bunch in this area and bring in some mulch. I do not like weeds.

Bananas
With no tomatoes to consume, the hornworms are now eating up our pepper plants. With an average heat index hitting 110, I can only do so much in the early morning before I am zapped. My Cayenne Buist’s Yellow plant was ready to explode the other day, with at least 30 flowers. This morning, 2 of the worms had feasted on the top growth. If I had slept in, they would have finished it off.
