How do i win level 3......

Tiki: Sun Nov 16, 03 at 12:16:08 AM (EST) - Bouncing in from Vegas...

And I see Bobby Hatfield ads everywhere... (SIGH) they were going to perform this week @ the Oreleans...

Thomas More: Wed Nov 12, 03 at 08:00:23 PM (EST) - Bobby Hatfield

It's sad when I hear about young people like Bobby, dead before he had a chance to retire.

Back in 1960 I used to pay "The Rhythm Rockers" an extra $10 so they could pay Bill and Bobby $5 each to sing a couple of songs. They only knew a couple, then.

Judi: Sat Nov 8, 03 at 10:45:23 AM (EST) - more games

I found 3 more fun time wasting games. I'll wait until you solve the last 2 before I post the new ones. Let me know when you are ready...

Judi: Fri Nov 7, 03 at 01:18:53 PM (EST) - MOTAS

Here is the link to the hints and walk thru for that game "Mystery of Time and Space" I shared here recently. It has enough hints to get you past the tough spots and no hints for level 12 so you are on your own there. I managed to finsih the darn thing last night. Jon, hope you found a use for that log!

....if not go here: motaswalkthroughs.tripod.com/

Bobby Hatfield

Judi: Thu Nov 6, 03 at 08:36:03 AM (EST) - hints

Glory Be! I was about to go crazy on that second game, so frustrating! I thought I was probably nearing the end and was stuck, really stuck. Then the person who told me about the game also told me there was a HINTS web site with both word hints and walkthrough photo hints. The embarassing part was I was stuck on level 3 out of 11 levels, I wasn't even close to finishing. It would take me weeks to finish on my own with no hints. I'll let you all work on it a bit longer and tomorrow if you want I'll post the hints URL.

Sandy: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 08:20:15 PM (EST) - The first game

JUDI: It took me a while to see the logic - and EVERY scene had a red herring.... it really was fun. Haven't tried the second one yet.

Tiki: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 06:41:05 PM (EST) - LOL

That would be on the 2nd game... LOL, going to have to jump back to it later.. before I smash up the place with my log!

Tiki: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 06:39:07 PM (EST) - Ok

The tail threw me...

Now trying to find out how to give the ACME machine more power.... Please no hints...

Judi: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 06:31:52 PM (EST) - sorry Tiki

that post was from me to you

Tiki: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 06:18:12 PM (EST) - cat in the tree

is that the scene with the squirrel in the tree playing records? there is a button to release the man from the ball on the ball itself. Click on squirrel tail to get him to play another tune. The bird has to do something and the owl also has to do something... Lots of logic in these puzzles, if you get frustrated easily don't try the second game link I posted, that is truly evil!

Tiki: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 04:49:18 PM (EST) - Judy

??? Jumped to the cat in the tree in minutes. But from there I have no clue... The poor guy is trapped in his ball.

Not clear to what I am missing here...

Judi: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 12:37:49 PM (EST) - more games, more cheap thrills

Liked that one, then try this!

www.albartus.com/motas/mystery/

It's not the same people as the alien puzzle, so the graphics aren't as nice. But it will drive you crazy!!! and I'm stuck on level 4 and have to give up for now.

Sandy: Wed Nov 5, 03 at 11:25:27 AM (EST) - Judi

Several hours of addictive fun later, I figured it out..... and I am NOT a gamer. Thanks for the cheap thrills!!!!!

Tiki: Mon Nov 3, 03 at 02:55:08 PM (EST) - LOL

I mean .. last week was busy ..

Tiki: Mon Nov 3, 03 at 02:54:15 PM (EST) - Judi

Very busy week... Nice to see SC in the #2 spot!

Judi: Mon Nov 3, 03 at 11:21:07 AM (EST) - ollie ollie infree

....or come out come out where ever you are.... Where did everyone go? was it something I said? still hosing down your homes?

Judi: Tue Oct 28, 03 at 10:29:40 AM (EST) - The Big Thaw

That happened yesterday afternoon, my refrigerator/freezer died probably due to the numerous and unexplained power outages and power surges we have had here recently. Right now I'm doing some creative cooking, making stews and soups from the thawed veggies and meats and I'm heading to the store to buy bags of ice to keep the milk chilled until I can get a new one. However this morning the paving crew arrived to tar our driveway so that means no heavy delivery truck can bring us our new fridge for a while. When it rains it pours and darn it I had no ice cream that just HAD to be consumed. That half pound of bacon was tasty however.

Sandy: Tue Oct 28, 03 at 09:36:34 AM (EST) - Thomas the Sound Guy

Well... several problems..... there is no attic space above the family room, just the ceiling and floor of the bedroom above. AND, the ceilings were orginally covered in a concrete-like sprayed on acoustic ceiling, not the water soluble, easily drilled stuff. We had them scraped and plastered smooth, but some of the concrete mix remains underneath. AND, we have lathe and plaster walls, which are notoriously fragile and unpredictable when punching holes in them..... bottom line: it was easier to run the cables under the carpet while it was removed.

And then, of course, when it warms up all the music that's been frozen in the wires all Winter will start playing!

Thomas More: Mon Oct 27, 03 at 05:33:46 PM (EST) - Wired for Sound

Poogie, Sandy; Why run wires under your carpet? I'm getting ready to wire for surround-sound, but fortunately I have a retired electrician living next door. He suggested running the rear speaker wires through the wall behind the stereo, which goes into the garage. From there they go up the garage wall into the attic, and across to the corners where the speakers are. No wires will be visible in the living room!

But what if you have cathedral ceilings? (best for sound). No problem. Run the wires through the wall to the outside, and under the eaves to the location of the speakers. Have an experienced electrician do this, so the holes will be properly sealed and insulated.

Judi; Don't try this in Maine. The electrons will freeze out there, and you'll have no surround sound 'til the Spring thaw.

I've been first to write on these walls of white,
twice now in the last fortnight.
I never did so well on the walls of yellow,
first in there was always some other fellow.
We don't hear so much from him today,
since he spends all his time on eBay!
